They say the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others—though they didn’t mention the sore fingers! This weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to serve at a massive dinner event for 600 guests.

From crafting decorations for the candy bar to spending four hours straight making balloons for 100 excited children, we didn’t sit down for a second. By 9:30 PM, we were exhausted, but watching the families have the time of their lives was the ultimate reward. There’s truly nothing like the magic of seeing a child’s face light up over a simple balloon animal.
